Many first responders struggle from behavioral health issues such as depression, PTSD, moral injury, addictions, and suicide. FBHA is nationally known as the catalyst in the industry and for collecting data on firefighter, EMS and Dispatch suicides.
Our Services include, educational workshops, resource list of professional resources, medical financial assistance, scholarships, Weekend retreat for family survivors called Those Left Behind. FBHA also offers a workshop for school children & teens titled “Keeping T.A.B.S.” (Together Against Bullying and Suicide).
About Mondays Dark
Mondays Dark was founded in 2013 by Mark Shunock, inner arena announcer for the Vegas Golden Knights, and his wife Cheryl Daro. Two Mondays every month, they host a $20-$50 a ticket variety show for a local charity. They will be hosting a silent auction throughout the show and are seeking items for the audience to bid on. There will be over 300 people attending the event. Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance was selected by Mondays Dark and pledges to raise $10,000 in 90 minutes.
