FBHA & Weyerhaeuser Wildland Fire Dept Grants

FBHA to Offer Free Virtual Workshops to Wildland Fire Departments

The Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance (FBHA) is pleased to announce the availability of free virtual training for Wildland Fire Departments. FBHA will offer these free behavioral health workshops to help support first responders that respond to some of the deadliest and most destructive types of fires.

FBHA is a national nonprofit that works to raise awareness about behavioral health issues and suicide in the Fire, EMS and Dispatch services through data collection and education. Attendees are educated on how to recognize signs and symptoms of those in behavioral health distress and will expand their knowledge of suicide prevention & awareness.

Fire departments in any state can apply. Workshops must be hosted no later than June 2023. To apply for a free workshop, complete the application below and return via email to workshop@ffbha.org or by fax to 888-788-5047.

Workshops made possible by FHBA and a donation from Weyerhaeuser.
